Hundreds of books, I am still reading. There should be degrees of this.

Reading, eager to get back to my book, bye!
Reading, also another book, depending on mood
Reading, but no other books, not in the mood for it
Reading, only just, should put on the shelf with bookmark
I have read most of, still interested, back on the shelf already
I have read most of, did not like, will try again, verdict pending
I have read about half of, I resent, but still forming opinion
I haven't read it, except in my hate speech translation
I have read some of it, got bored, put it in garbage
I read the first page. Bad. Read randomly. Bye!
I looked at the title and author. Smirked.

To be honest? The only book I am still reading is Sense and Sensibility by some dead bird called Jean Autism. It was really good ... but for some reason I can't fathom I stopped 15 pages before the end. It's on a table near me. There's a bookmark. Every day I look at it, and think "I will enjoy reading that" and make no move to pick it up. I do not want to know what happens to Marianne. I'm sure I won't like it. Good spoilers would not hurt, because honestly I will probably never finish it.

Servskoje here. Can I join this region? It sound like all I'm for, and I'm sure my people would LOVE it. Quiet down foreign relations minister!
Anyway, I'd like if you could endorse Servskoje, and I will add your region to my dossier. SHUT UP FOREIGN RELATIONS MINITSER! THIS IS FOR OUR OWN GOOD! [proposal=]You endorse my nation here: Servskoje, and I will add your region to my dossier. This means the plentiful trade exports of my Empire would go to you for whatever you may have.[/proposal]

Redemption's Blade by Adrian Tchaikovsky, a Christmas gift. The premise of starting a story after the hero has defeated the dark lord intrigues me, and it is certainly doing an excellent job of depicting such a setting so far.

Don Pendleton's The Executioner #76 Teheran Wipeout. It's a series I got into years ago, and am now trying to collect them all, which is a real pain cause of how many books there are.
The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool.
They lay. They rotted. They turned
Around occasionally.
Bits of flesh dropped off them from
Time to time.
And sank into the pool's mire.
They also smelt a great deal.
