I'm reading the Bible and the Qur'an, and finding them both very repetitive and boring.

Both were written for the masses, who require repetition in order to absorb concepts.

Like how am I to survive not eating bacon! >:( )

Love Pratchett! And occasionally I will reread books. Luckily we have shelves of Pratchett books in our bookcase.
But recently finished Red Men by Matthew de Abaitua, Idoru by William Gibson and currently reading in "Zero History " and "all tomorrow's parties" both by William Gibson. Yes I am on a scifi binge

The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

Broken and Blessed by Fr. Josh Johnson. Very wonderful prayer and meditations book, I’m glad a young priest is speaking to young people without watering himself down, or without trying to be hip while sacrificing good theology. Recommend for friends interested in getting a new prayer book to try during the pandemic!
Catholic, pro-life, and proud of it. I prefer my debates on religion, politics, and sports with some coffee and a little Aquinas and G.K. CHESTERTON here and there. :3

I started reading Energy and Civilization A History by Vaclav Smil. It helps me get a better understanding of why oil is such a popular source of energy.

I am also reading The Knowledge Ilusion Why We Never Think Alone by Steven Sloman and Philip Fernbach.
