Currently, I'm reading East of Eden by John Steinbeck. Excellent piece of work, if I may add.

Next up for me is Six Frigates: The Epic History of the Founding of the U.S. Navy by Ian W. Toll. I'm only about 20 pages in right now, but I'm already immersed in everything it's taught me thus far. Should be a a good one...

Finished MacBeth today.

Must say that I really liked Macbeth and the Lady. Great to go against the flow.

I think it's safe to assume anything with suicide in the title is gonna be a downer.

Is that the one the film is based on? If so, I hope it was better than the film.

Yup. I liked the film, but they did cut a metric ton of stuff from the book out of it.

The Tale Of Genji by Lady Murasaki.

I might as well just read Murasaki's Diary, because it sounds a thousand times more interesting than any fiction she may have written.

Congress of the Animals, by Jim Woodring. A graphic novel about Frank, the generic anthropomorph. Quacky's immature behavior leads indirectly to Frank being required to leave the Unifactor. Surreality ensues.

Specifically I'm starting "Roadwork", and just finished "The Long Walk"...

Loved that story...
And so it was, that I had never changed.
