The Map of Time, Felix Palma

Haven't had the chance to read very much into it, but so far it's been a great read, if rather ambiguous as to the direction of the plot.

King Lear, William Shakespeare

It's enjoyable, although I do wish I had the time to read it in Shakespearean English, unfortunately since it's due on Friday, I have to stick with the simple version, which detracts heavily from the play.

Finished Red Inferno: 1954 by Robert Conroy. I recommend it to anyone interested in military history, or alt-history. Some inconsistencies will e easily spotted by rabid history fans, but, in all a great book.

Now reading....re-reading actually, Tin Man by Dale Brown. I can already tell you its a pretty damn good book and you should read it. Its a nice semi-departure from his Air Force thrillers.

I switch between lots of books. Usually read for about an hour in bed before going to sleep.

*Checks the pile of books on his nightstand* Uhm...

A Modern History of Germany, 1800-present by Frits Boterman (Dutch historian)
The novel Saigon by Anthony Grey
The Great Wall: China Against the World by Julia Lowell
The Imperial Achievement by John Bowle
Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer (doesn't really fit in the list but I love the Artemis Fowl series :lol2: )
The Lonely Planet guide for Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and the Greater Mekong

Currebntly I am reading The Dog Said Bow-Wow, a collection of stories by Michael Swanwick. It was one of those books I grabbed off a library shelf just to have something to read. It's the sort of thing that I normally can't stand - sort of what they call now "new weird": post-apocalyptic stories of a distant fantastic future, complete with elves, demons, human-animal hybrids, etc. etc. But the guy writes so well I got into it, despite myself. I particularly liked a story called "Legions of Time" which has enough material in it for a trilogy of novels, and is the moust outrageous time-travel story I've seen since "All You Zombies" (Heinlein).

I'm theoretically reading An Introduction to the Theory of Numbers ie and old number theory text. i say theoretically because i have it at work to keep my mind occupied on days when i have absolutely nothing to do (8 hours of nothing will drive anyone insane) but I am actually busy right now

and yes, i am actually reading a math text book for my own enjoyment (not quite the right word) and not for a class

I loved The Belgariad and The Mallorean, they're two of my favorite series by far, I haven't gotten my hands on a set of his third series yet.
