I recently finished reading Lexicon by some guy named Max Barry who I know has nothing to do with this website.

Currently I'm reading Neuromancer by William Gibson.

Found & picked up a copy of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea from my school libraray because of the Yorushika song "Nautilus." Maybe it's a bit silly to allow myself to be so swiftly persuaded by something like a song, but... I suppose there's something about Yorushika's music that intrigues me. The name of the submarine doesn't show up in the lyrics itself, but I have tried to use what little resources I have to relate 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea to the characters of the series, namely Amy/Nemo, who both seem to despise the world & seemed to have been had a great love for something once before eventually losing it. Aside from that, I also went through my sister's copy of The Importance of Being Earnest & Four Other Plays, most of which flew over my head, & Gift from The Sea, which was a pleasant little read for me.

The German Ideology by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.

Also Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari.
'A distinction is made in private life between what a man thinks and says of himself and what he really is and does. In historical struggles one must make a still sharper distinction between the phrases and fantasies of the parties and their real organisation and real interests, between their conception of themselves and what they really are.'

I'm currently reading 3 books at once. Two if which I'm rereading. There's Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld (rereading), Inheritance by Christopher Paolini (rereading), and The Rise of Kyoshi by F. C. Yee (reading).
I'm an autistic 19 year old who used to read a library's worth of books.

Call me JA. It's easier than typing out Japanese Americans.
