Taylor Anderson - Storm Surge

On that line, did anyone else ever notice just how many Science Fiction authors are named Anderson? Poul, Kevin J, Taylor, Chester, Catherine are just the ones I can think of.

As of now, re-reading Warrior Cat books. I am waiting for the fifth, and sixth books in the series to be available in library, though.

Finally got around to reading Fire and Blood which doesn't make me feel better about the fact that I might never read The Winds of Winter, but it's good stuff.

I’m currently alternating between Kropotkin’s The Conquest of Bread and Rudolf Rocker’s Anarcho-Syndicalism. I’ve just finished reading Tree Girl as part of a spring break assignment.

Peter Kropotkin wrote, “We accustom ourselves and our children to hypocrisy, to the practice of a double-faced morality. And since the brain is ill at ease among lies, we cheat ourselves with sophistry. Hypocrisy and sophistry become the second nature of the civilized man. But a society cannot live thus; it must return to truth or cease to exist.” The Conquest of Bread (1892)

I am currently having a go at the third volume of the History of United States Naval Operations in World War II whilst occasionally having a look at a biography on Cyrus the great and Panzer battles.

I started playing an Eberron campaign with some friends, so been reading The City of Towers by Keith Baker.

Not the best-written fantasy, but not poorly written either.

I just finished Let Our Fame Be Great: Journeys Among the Defiant People of the Caucasus. At first it was just meant to be a source for a term paper, and I was just going to flip through the index to find relevant information, but instead it grabbed my attention and decided to read the whole thing. The interviews of actual Chechens and their stories about the brutality of the wars they endured was particularly fascinating.

I just finished Armies of Sand by Kenneth Pollack. It has some interesting points that I can apply to my own NS military. I am now starting Northern Fury: H-Hour.
