Could a Stormtrooper do that?
Uh, I already said I think Daleks would win in a fight. I just like Storm troopers better. They have cooler armour and stuff.

Hell, most of the things thrown under the "sci-fi" banner nowadays are not actually sci-fi. It's disappointing that no one seems to understand what that actually means anymore.
How Can Star Wars Be Futuristic? Isn't it set "A long time ago in a galaxy far far away"

What the hell does the Empire have other than that "moon destruction thing" which was destoryed twice!
Plus, no Dalek would ever lose to a teddy bear with a wooden spear!

No but they DO keep losing to a 900+ year old guy with a screwdriver as his only weapon and who lives in a phone booth.

The downplaying was intentional, and we are aware of the full aspects of what the TARDIS is. I've been watching Doctor Who since John Pertwee was The Doctor.

Good.
It Just Gets My Goat When People call the TARDIS a Phone Booth, This Isn't Frigging Bill and Ted!

True, that. But you do have to admit the Doctor has had some truly excellent adventures.
Still trying to get my wife, who has wonderfully curly red hair, to dress as Nyssa at DragonCon one of these years. She did an excellent "Tom Baker" costume for herself last year, including an 18' scarf she knit herself. But I think me as the 5th Doctor and her as Nyssa would be just too fun.

I agree that DR WHO is 'excellent' (cues in electric guitars), but referring the most epic Sci-Fi series to ever come out of Britain (probably the world) to 2 idiots who simply kidnap important historical figures in Earths history just to pass an assignment without any concern for the space time continuum! (Finally breathes and takes a breath from his inhaler) is truly atrocious! DR WHO is epically awesome and is full of OOBER plots which seem to always make sense in the imposibility of it all, whist Bill and Ted (cues in electric guitars) is as scientifically correct as an ogre smashing his head with a rock whilst whistleling the Bulgarian national anthem!!!![]()

Well, the transition from A New Hope to The Empire Strikes Back was an improvement. After that, however, it's been falling like a rock.

Remember they went back and added the stupid numbers in. going by production order 4,5,6 suck. By the series time line its 1,2,3 that suck. What really ticks me off is that to get any of Episdoe 3 you have to watch the stupid clone wars miniseries. In the same time frame happening simultaneously they added another clone wars series and animated movie. All of which makes no sense whatsoever.

This exhibits one of the major flaws in the Star Wars franchise, which though probably should be blamed on the marketing department, since I for one had no idea who the hell that strange semi-robotic fellow was, and well the rest of the film felt forced.
Though the BBC has its flaws, I have to say that their policy of only making what was seen on television as canonical content is an excellent one.
