I can not fucking stand rap and country. Most pop irritates me. I despise indy. That's about it.

Edit: Also whatever the hell genre that Justen Biebir, Katti Parry, Hana Montana, Ki$ha, and Lady Gaga belong to needs to go back to the hell it was spawned from.

Modern music labeled as "Rap", any Pop, especially the songs that share a name with an earlier Metal band....(ie Paranoid). I also hate most Pop Rock too...

My nation is not like my nation page at all, it contradicts itself, we don't EVER eat kangaroos, that's just very sad. Also vegetarianism is compulsory yet it still says it's the nation's favourite main course and all and stuff.

Most rap today sucks, but there is some good rap out there. And yes, rap + other genre = eargasm. For example, rap metal!
I love blues, how can you hate it?

Polka doesn't bother me much. The only stuff that really bugs me is trendy, fake aggressive music. Aggressive music isn't supposed to be commercial, when bands essentially write 'angry pop' and try to pass it off as something more substantial, it deeply annoys me. I'd rather get stuck listening to Jonas Bros or Beiber then Slipknot or Atreyu.

Screamo's an actual genre that is definitely different from Emo, they tend to be a lot noisier and more chaotic than Emo bands.

Screamo's an actual genre that is definitely different from Emo, they tend to be a lot noisier and more chaotic than Emo bands.


It's a silly term because there's steady evolution between bands like Moss Icon and Indian Summer into the more chaotic stuff. Indie pop crap like Jimmy Eats World ripped off emo elements in the mid-90s, and all the younger bands that didn't appreciate that just took the chaotic elements a little further than the early 90s bands.

Not really, Indian Summer, American Football, etc. don't really have a direct tie in sound to Funeral Diner, Envy, and the like. It's a further continuation of Hardcore, but it goes into Post-Hardcore territory.
