It's not that I don't like Post-Rock, or Classical and Jazz for that matter, I have a band that borrows from all of that; it's that he hates everything but that. I hate people who hate everything but what they love. I love Rock, Metal, and Alternative. Can I tolerate Jazz, Blues, Electronica, Classical, some Pop or Rap, some Country, and other stuff? Sure. I don't hate everything I don't like.

Yeah, that seems to be a recurring theme in Post-Rock. Though, in cases like that, I tend to punish the copying artist rather than the person who made the music in the first place. That's one reason why I disliked Klaatu at first, they sounded like Beatles knockoffs.

I sincerely doubt they're true post rock. I think you're mixing up Post-Rock and Post-Hardcore, which are two completely different genres. This is Post-hardcore, this is Post-Rock (you may want to skip the intro to the song).

I sincerely doubt they're true post rock. I think you're mixing up Post-Rock and Post-Hardcore, which are two completely different genres. This is Post-hardcore, this is Post-Rock (you may want to skip the intro to the song).

Yeah, I try to follow that. I mean I love some EITS, but they just seem to lose some of their appeal when about 800 other bands do their sound, and sometimes better. Whenever I want that style though, I generally always go to EITS.

I'm just curious, but since when did the amount of talent required to play something affect the way it sounded? You don't have to be "talented" at your instrument to write and play a good song, case in point, the No Wave movement. Second, the word you're looking for is skill. Talent is innate, skill is developed through time. It takes skill to play something, not talent.

Not all Black Metal is Satanic. I'd actually wager that a large amount (40+%) isn't. Most Black Metal is anti-Christian. Also most Black Metal musicians favor Pagan religions and use those as basis for justification of the church burnings, not Satan.

Leftist Folk music? You mean Bright Eyes? That's really the only relevant Folk band I can think of as being far-left. Also, genres aren't determined by who listens to the music, but by the way it sounds. Folk has always been stripped-down music that focuses around a vocalist and a guitar with an emphasis on lyrics. I don't understand
