Despite the glitches( which I think have been patched, IIRC), this game is still 10x better than FO3. Storyline, game play, re playability (i've done it four times now), and so on. The only thing I liked about FO3 more than NV, is the music selection.

I won't say it's the best game ever since I have yet to play it, but I've become addicted to every Fallout game thus far so I will probably disappear for a month or two after I get around to buying it.

I just want to hear "Alacazam and goodbye" but I never hear it... "Ain't That A Kick In The Head" and "Johnny Guitar" are good though.

Storyline? The storyline is decent in NV, but I had more of a personal pull for FO3, plus that simulation in FO3 is pretty hard to beat. There stories in both games aren't really anything remarkable though. I spent many more hours (and longer sessions) on FO3. I like a lot of additions to NV, but the gameplay keeps me away from truly enjoying it.

You mean the glitches in gameplay? Because so far as I could tell, the game played exactly the same as 3, with a greater variety of weapons and such. Go into a cave, shoot mutated dogs, take their stuff sell it, buy ammo, etc. And those ridiculous tunnel systems were left out of NV, which was great.

Except there are far more collision issues and NPC issues. They permeate the game. They were existent in FO3, but not nearly to the same extent that they appear in NV.

I must agree... In my copy, it also freezes every once and a while.

Go to New Vegas.

I never noticed. It was a bit buggy, but it auto-saved practically every time I left a zone, so if it did, I just turned it on and off again.
