I mean, look at "Fool in the Rain". Compare that to, say, O.A.R.'s version. It really is a great song, I just think a weak vocal performance let it down.

Bah humbug, "Fool" is one of there best songs

Billy Corgan, really, I like his songs but the sound he produces sometimes sounds like a cat being tortured, especially when he sings live.
My nation is not like my nation page at all, it contradicts itself, we don't EVER eat kangaroos, that's just very sad. Also vegetarianism is compulsory yet it still says it's the nation's favourite main course and all and stuff.

Anyone who holds the microphone directly in front of his or her mouth when he or she inhales. When I think of good vocalists, I think of Robert Plant, Ozze Osborne, and Geddy Lee. What do they have in common? When you watch them perform, they pull the microphone away when they inhale. They don't sound like they just came up from a really long, really deep dive without scuba gear.

I also dislike female singing voices. There's just something about their higher pitch that I find grating.

Will add to.

So, basically...

You don't like the genres.

Neither do I, mostly.

Just don't classify them as 'bad' or 'worst'.

Thanks. :)

OT, I'm with the poster above me on female vocalists. Some of them I like, 90% of them I do not. And of course some of the other shit you hear on the radio, or some that's too bad to even be played on the radio.

I prefer the lead singer of Delain to, say, Ozzy Osbourne.

Ozzy Osbourne.
He has an annoying voice and his vocal line is always exactly the same of the guitar riff. Really bad.

Ever heard his "Undercover" cover album ? Well, avoid it, 'cause it sucks.
