A Christmas Carol

Postby Wilgrove » Fri Dec 10, 2010 9:06 am

So, this is one of those movies that has been done, and re-done a thousand times. We all know the story by now. So, which version of "A Christmas Carol" is your favorite?

Personally I LOVE the one with Patrick Stewart in it. He really is a great actor and played Scrooge wonderfully. I also enjoyed the acting of Desmond Barrit, who played The Ghost of Christmas Present. This movie was released on TNT in 1999, and in 2010, 11 years later I still watch it every year on Christmas day. I have the DVD.

So, which "A Christmas Carol" do you like?

Apart from the muppet remake, or the animation with Jim Carey, I love them all.

I love the one with Patrick Stewart too, even though it is the only one I seen apart from the animated one.

The novel itself in my opinion. On television, I think it is Patrick Stewart's.
