1986 (What Happened in Eastasia, Fanfic Sequel)

OOC: As I feel not much information has been given about Eastasia, from 1984, and that it has focused too much on Oceania (Air Strip One in particular), I have decided to make a sequel set in Eastasia. Since it seems like all the superstates are dystopia's, I am going to make it a dystopia, but in my own form.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Prologue

It will expand, but my goal is to see what had happened in Eastasia. The plot will use many elements of 1984, but it will have differences, such as political ideology, and such but it will be like North Korea during the famine.

Prologue

It was so mind boggling that Eastasia had even came to exist in the first place. However, it's origins were indisputable. In 1939, China, Southern Mongolia, Southern Soviet Union, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, northern Burma and Northern British Raj chose to unite with Japan, creating the Great Japanese Empire, and it would last until 1953, when a junta took power and since then, the nation was crumbling, under the weight of unsolvable problems. How did it get to exist despite the competition of Eurasia and Oceania and stay stable was so surprising. Yet, they had their own version of newspeak, Namspeak, coming from making transliterations of languages and combining it with Vietnamese, to make Namspeak. However, Vàngạo, meaning "Golden Rice," in Namspeak lived in City #1, in the province of Koryo, waking up to his flavor of propaganda from the junta.

BUMP!
Chapter 1: Government and Class Systems of Eastasia

As he woke up, he saw General Vladimir Lenin on the screen, and he said in Namspeak, " Đồngchí buổisáng Vàngao." Vàngao frowned and replied back in Namspeak, "Tổngbuổi sáng Lenin." Vangao was talking to General Lenin, head of the junta but thought, "The highest class is the Inner Junta, the 2 middle classes are the Central Junta, which I am in, the Lower Junta, and the Peasants, the lowest class." After that, Lenin turned off his telescreen and it showed propaganda praising Eurasia, and condemning Oceania, with the words in Namspeak, "Hộiđồng Chínhđangtheo dõibạn," meaning, "The Junta is watching you." He got out of bed, organized his bed, and went to his desk. It faced the window overlooking City #1, the capital of Koryo. Amongst the ruins, of shattered temples, once beautiful is the ugly-looking building, called "Tower #1," but the Peasants call it, "The Building of Doom." He then started to type on his typewriter of plans for a Military Parade, going past the Building of Doom, or Tower #1. It was called Ryugyong before Japan conquered it in 1910, and was called Heijo until the junta took power in 1954, and since then, it was called City #1, but to him, it will always be Ryugyong. He frowned, and started typing, thinking to himself, "The junta controls everything in this land. It controls lives, power, travel and even alliances, but unlike Oceania and Eurasia, it denies any alliances but in reality, it is obvious it has alliances, constantly switching with each other. The junta, was meaningless." He kept typing, the loud clanks still typing while the propaganda on his telescreen was still going.
