I just watched Skyline..and I will tell you now..It was a huge waste of money. There wasn't really a point to the movie. Survival? Please, how can you survive against aliens, that no matter what kind of punishment you deal to them(Including Nukes and even a clear pummeling to the brain with a cinder block) they will never die...The end kind of sucked too.

The movie, when the credits rolled by seemed to have this main point, "When this happens, you're going to die. and no matter who you are, nothing will stop them...because they're invincible."

It was only slightly better then District 9, almost to Cloverfield's level..and was stomped into the mud several thousand times by War of the Worlds(Remake).

Action scenes had good special effects though.

So ratings out of 5?

You almost blew your credibility right here. The remake was awful.

Skyline looks pretty terrible, the commercials made me laugh at how bad some of the acting was. Just another CGI wankfest it seems.

Honestly, what's with all the depressing sci-fi movies lately? I want movies like Stargate or Independence day.

As with many films of late I've been too scared to watch it, the last half of this decade has increasingly corroded my faith in modern film to the point where I just don't want to take the gamble that is watching a new release.
