LOOK! POST Its OLD

Postby Ffiizzzzyyllaanndd » Wed Nov 17, 2010 1:33 am

See, I am a person who absolutely adores old things like the 1950's, ABBA, 1970's Victorian era and everything in between, but for some reason I just fing too much greatness in these times, sure some of the technology is amazing, but these past times are special.
Now for the question, do you like these things too?
Hey tell me your favorite era, or anything you find epic in past times. :p ,
Anyway many people would be thinking this :? or :eyebrow: , but please leave a comment but nothing rude.
To be more specific, I love every aspect of the 1950's I adore the clothes and manor of people in the Victorian Era, I love ABBA and the Jumpsuit.
I love Elvis, Heres Lucy(TV show), Zsa Zsa Gabor. Oh just another mountain of things I could type up but this Topic post would go on forever

What exactly do you mean by old things? You should probably be a little more specific when you start a topic (and also give it a better title-- I thought it was going to be spam). I know you mentioned ABBA. I'm not really a fan of them, but I do like older bands like The Who and Pink Floyd. I sometimes enjoy old TV shows like Star Trek TOS, but I rarely get a chance to watch. A discussion of eras themselves would probably go in General, but I always thought it would be fun to live in the 1960s.

So you saying my dead grandma from the fifties is old? Why...why your bitch (said in a Gregory Peck kind of way). Hey, he's from a while back too.

I like Baroque and Rococo art and architecture, but I can't say I would have liked to have lived in 18th century Europe. Well, maybe for a while in a romanticized fairytale version.
