Discovery Channel isn't even this bad.

Well it’s shocking that the History Channel has moved from being the “Apocalypse Channel” to the “Reality TV Channel”, but otherwise Top Gear USA was average at best, since the presenters were extremely bland, which ruined what could otherwise potentially have been a promising show.

Just get the military channel if your cable provider is giving you History and no military then their ripping you off.

Top Gear in the USA is crap.
Why?
1 they're boring
2 they're too serious
3they aren't British
4 they don't do stupid things

So, unless they make it funny, I'll never watch it.
Just wait...when it does turn funny, no one will be watching.
Good bye top gear usa.

I don't watch either versions of Top Gear, but speaking from the point of view of a person who has almost no interest cars (excluding those who watch the show), I could tell it wouldn't be popular.

Still, I miss the shows they used to show on History channel, like Mystery Quest, Monster Quest, and those 4 hour documentaries on Japan and the United States. It makes sense to have Swamp People and Pawn Stars on, but I don't really see the reasoning behind Ax Men and Top Gear being on that channel.
