Bad, preachy satire, at that.

You have to type out creative or survival. The big change tho8hg that has him and most of his friends pissed is the fact they are removing the command /execute. /Execute is probably the most important command for mapmakers and removing it breaks literally every custom map out there.
Ob the bright side though he now does all his work for Windows 10 version so he doesn't have to deal with the Java devs constantly breaking everything. Apparently the Bedrock devs have this wondrous policy where they don't go around arbitrarily removing commonly used features because they think they might have something better and can't stand the thought of people doing things the old way.

How the hell do they expect anyone to do anything without /execute?!?!

These changes primarily affect custom maps. Mods break for other reasons.Zanera wrote:I really like the diamond block texture. It looks like a gem now. 1) New diamond block looks like shit and destroys the look of all my old builds with it.
2) Microsoft doesn't shit on Java as much as they don't care about it. It's mostly just being left behind as everything else switches over to Bedrock. They don't even consider it the main version of the game anymore and they kind of let the Java devs do their own thing.
The big issue Java has in my opinion is that that the Devs don't know when to quit. This Execute thing. They broke nearly every custom map currently out for java. Sure the new methods might in theory be better, but I'd be willing to bet money that in a year and a half these new methods are going to be scrapped and replaced with something different again breaking every custom map out there. Bedrock doesn't have that problem, the people working on Bedrock realize that they don't have anything to gain from breaking everything people have made and have worked with map makers to make sure that they don't break shit.
