I started a new map on PS3 Minecraft with the intention of building a bunch of really basic and random military crap, then I ended up tearing it down to make this little walled Viking settlement on top of a plateau. The I ended up building a harbor with a lighthouse, a couple warehouses, and maybe a dockkeeper house/office thing. The road to the plateau fortress ends with two big towers. There's an inlet to the right facing the fortress from the harbor which I built a bridge over, which leads to a market. To the left goes to this big wheat farm with a windmill, barn, farmhouse, and little shed. I have a bunch of little fishing boats around the harbor, too, and a few 'seagulls' flying around for ambiance.

I have this circular fortress in the middle of a lake that's on the other side of the plateau fortress from the harbor, and it's pretty out of place with the Viking theme. Might tear it down and build a dock station instead of this high bridge thing. I mean I think it's pretty cool, but the rest of my build does not match.

The aforementioned high bridge thing leads to a bunch of Viking houses that might be oversized. IDK, they just look stupidly big, especially with the roofs. Will probably have to rebuild the town there (again). There's a shipbuilding thing there too, which I'll probably keep (and might expand it).

The Viking ship and fishing boats I didn't design myself. If you see a boat or ship in my build, I copied it from YouTube. I can remember Lord Dakr being where I got the fishing boats designs from.
ThorHammerhand is where I got the Viking ship design from. I tweaked the design a bit though, because the mast looked so measly. I made the mast out of logs instead of fence posts, except for the cross-poles or whatever. Made the ship look much better.

I was also trying to turn the top visible layers of sand into gravel to give some kind of cold, wet feel instead of temperate or tropical, which you'd get from sand.

I mostly prefer Creative. I'd probably just build a little house in the middle of the forest and just maintain a farm if it was Survival. And probably die a lot. Plus I am stuck on PS3.

I'd try to buy the Skyrim skin pack for the Legionnaire skin, but it's the Light Armor variant. I know the Light Armor variant pops up a ton in vanilla Skyrim but I think the Heavy Armor variant looks cooler. Not a bunch of drab colors, but some silvery steel in there too. But meh. Should have gotten PC then I guess.

We're gonna slap 'NationStates' in front of something and claim one of them for one of our own like McDonald's does with the 'Mc-' thing with their food. And it will be glorious.

It'll also be easier to share Minecraft ideas on Minecraft rather than a text forum.

As has been pointed out, several of us play exclusively on console or PE. I'm not sure how I feel about essentially excluding such players from the server experience.

I think I'm fine with just hearing about them fucking around on the server. PC offers a lot of mods and plugins and stuff, and it's the first one that gets updated. Console is naturally left just a little behind when it comes to Minecraft, and console is inherently obstructive when it comes to the server stuff unless they want to do more than Mini-game server stuff. Either you let the console and game run for ages, or we all have to time when we get on. With PC there is a lot more to do, and if there's enough people that are on PC that want that experience, than why not? Sure, I'd like to play on a server with some people, but since I'm on PS3, that probably won't be happening. I've still got builds to keep me occupied when I feel like playing Minecraft, when I'm not playing Skyrim or GTA V.

I now have a clone room.

I've also used my Shit 2 Cooler Shit^TM Transmutation Pit to obtain diamonds.

And I've started to construct a Statue Room.

If you want to be in it simply TG me your Minecraft username and if you want your statue to be holding any items (Cannot be rare materials or expensive items).

Don't hear much about building universities and colleges and stuff.
It's flat but it might not be the best place to build it. Looks like an ugly landscape.
