Have you tried basing the interior off the one of the spaceship from the Shifted Reality 2 adventure map?

Holodeck, control room, engine rooms, briefing room, cabins and quarters for all crew, recreation rooms (gym, bar, lounge, pool tables, card tables), ready room, broom closets, prison cells, medbay, labs?

Got a Holodeck, got ideas for a control room, Briefing room sounds like a good idea, the cabins and quarters are in progress, got a area for recreation, don't know exactly what a Ready Room would be for on this ship, I'll probably add closets later, got a brig planned, got a infirmary, and I'm not sure about the labs. It's got a hydroponics lab, but that's about the only lab I really imagine the ship having. It's more of a war ship then a science ship, hence the big TNT cannon on the front

Well in ST:TNG, Picard's always in his ready room. I've no idea what that is or what he does in there (I think it's just an office?) but it's definitely really important, else he wouldn't spend so much time there. Probably.
