If you have the patience to learn how to use it. But some pretty cool stuff can be made.

Anyone tried the latest snapshot? If you have have you noticed what is easily the most significant change that Mojang declined to mention and those on Youtube have missed?

It started earlier, but now the change is pretty much finished. Its good for the future yeah, but they've broken literally every custom map not made within the past few months.

So, started playing Minecraft again and my sister began making a big space ship and I've pondered making my own, but god, I don't even know where to start on making an awesome space ship out of square blocks

On Blockland I could pull it off BETTER, but even then, I doubt I could pull it off right.

BUT the only way to get good at it, is by trying anyway, right? Then eventually you can pull off the amazing things you imagine.

You could always try Space Engineers. There you can actually fly the spaceship after you finish building it.

The new /particle command is apparently really cool. Unfortunately I can't get it to work.

Hmmm, might give that a try, too. I like these types of building games.

Gonna try and make a fleet of ships with my sister on Minecraft anyway, though. My biggest problem is my mind thinks big but I can't do big well...I'm always thinking of city ideas on Minecraft and Blockland and such, but I always abandon the projects because I can never finish pulling them off. We got one 'city' (More like a village) on Minecraft though where our whole plan is to slowly expand our world together as a family in survival mode. That one is going interesting. But I also threw out a city idea in that same one that I'm not even sure how to completely do.

I need to start thinking small. Like one skyscraper, for practice. Not throw out massive projects.

When copying something else, what have you guys found to be the best way to get the right size perspective on it? I know to make things actually look really cool on Minecraft you kind of have to make them larger than normal at times, depending what intricate details you're doing, but I'm thinking just general building perspectives. How do you get the right size? I'm always finding myself making things too small...

I tried copying Danish royal palace.. Too big and too small at the same time... I couldn't fill the place up, and I couldn't get all the details in... But usually I go minecraft life size, and make necessary deletes add ons or modifications

Try Galacticraft. Probably the best space mod out there. Flyable spaceships, different planets, and all that jazz. If you want to fly a spaceship you've built yourself, try downloading the Zeppelin mod as well.

I don't really care about being able to fly the spaceships, I want like, spaceship themed blocks and objects and stuff like that.
