I'd like them to add basalt. Another dark/black block to build from that you can make into bricks and brick stairs that doesn't have a uniform texture that looks stone-y and somewhat epic. Something that might go well with Nether Bricks or something.

I'm always amazed at how 1-2 people are able to do so much.

Sure, on multiplayer servers (Like Minecraft Online, 2b2t, Hermitcraft, etc...) building all that would be easy, but with only 1-2 people, that's insane.

Like, give enough time and Creative Mode and I could give you something, but all that in Survival with a few people? And the time it took to gather all those resources too, man, it's crazy.

Yeah, I want something like this or this. Non-Vanilla texture packs it seems, but I think you can get the gist. A black stone block you can do some like, fortress builds with or something. Imagine a wall in the Nether made of all those basalt blocks and Nether Bricks (maybe a few Obsidian for good measure) all composing of the texture in that red Nether gloom. It'd be imposing and epic, and something you could do a ton of cool stuff with.

I also want to build a Nether city and my palette is limited.

Also I was struck by the "unmovable camera" glitch for the 360 version after the newest update.

All you need to do is go to settings and press "reset to default"

Why.

Because barrier blocks are meant to not be noticeable under most circumstances, and having bars and panes connect to them gives away their location.

But then think of all the replacing hat you'd have to do on maps.

Sure, you could use colored glass blocks for the panes but what about the iron bars?

I'm not aware of any maps that rely on bars or panes connecting to barriers for any gameplay or aesthetic purpose.
