Polka, oh god that song.

But I have to say the best thing coming out of Australia at the moment is the Psychedelic Rock Revival happening.

Desire Be Desire Go - Tame Impala
Soldier On - The Temper Trap

The second one in more Alternative Rock, but it's still fucking amazing,

Yay for the Cutting and the falling of snow! Great bands, I feel. Though I don't know Nick Cave, or any seeds of malicious intent... but oh! He did the soundtrack to The Road, which is good (I don't think it should've had a soundtrack mind, but it was good). How about Architecture In Helsinki? Not so sure about their latest album, but In Case We Die is great also.

I didn't know Architecture in Helsinki had another album!

And I didn't know either! But it didn't sound very good... I may have to listen to it again on spotify.

I find Nick Cave to be something of an acquired taste. Some of his stuff just doesn't work, but other times he makes some of the most amazing work out there.

Blood Duster and 8 Foot Sativa are two really awesome Aussie metal bands. Blood Duster is more of a goregrind band, while 8 Foot Sativa is a thrash/death influenced metal band.

TISM is a comedy rock band. Greg! The Stop Sign! is one of their songs. You've probably heard one of their songs, since it went viral.
