http://www.slashfilm.com/2010/10/26/sta ... character/

It’s definitely a character that will make fans of TOS excited. Think along the lines of Harry Mudd or Trelane or Gary Mitchell or the Talosians or the Horta. Actually it’s one of those that I named.

Hmm... Trelane? nah, the idea that "Mommy and Daddy" has to save the day is too... but if you can get John de Lancie to play Trelane...

Gary Mitchell? interesting... especially if they have the Dr. Dehner character...

Talosian? that was more Chris Pike's thing... and seeing what happened to him in the first film...

The Horta? if done properly, it could be done more like a horror movie... an unknown entity on a one monster mission to preserve her race...

Harry Mudd... interesting... but... rather Cyrano Jones and his tribbles than Mudd...

who would you like to see in ST II?
on the other hand... I have another set of fingers.

Unscramble these words...1) PNEIS. 2)HTIELR 3) NGGERI 4) BUTTSXE
1) SPINE. 2) LITHER 3)GINGER 4)SUBTEXT

I honestly have no idea who any of those characters are.

EDIT: After looking them up, exactly two would provide any sort of worthwhile movie villain. The Talosians or Mudd.

"Never be deceived that the rich will permit you to vote away their wealth." - Lucy Parsons
Socialism is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy. "Social ownership" may refer to cooperative enterprises, common ownership, state ownership, citizen ownership of equity, or any combination of these. There are many varieties of socialism and there is no single definition encapsulating all of them. They differ in the type of social ownership they advocate, the degree to which they rely on markets or planning, how management is to be organised within productive institutions, and the role of the state in constructing socialism.

Gods...all those options SUCK.

For all it's faults, at least the most recent ST movie tried to give us an original story...even if that story was convoluted.

If they're already going back to the well and reusing old foes and old ideas, what the fuck was the point of rebooting the franchise in the first place??

Oh, right....MONEY

I'll be saving mine...
