Terrible writing indeed, cheesy dialog/story, iffy premise, anoying 3/5 of the time, horid advancing, irrational tech, and of course the most retarded ending I have ever seen in my entire life.

I tell you: don't waste your time.

Ending is disappoint, yes. Forgot about that. It's pretty dull. My English teacher lauded it, in her terrible accent, as literary gold.

The 3 different Englsh teachers I have had this whole year have said the same thing.

What kind of books do teachers read?

All different sorts -- of course the books we are teaching... I favor Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files, Ellis Peters' Cadfael series, Tamora Pierce and Mercedes Lackey and Charlaine Harris for fun. I like Shakespeare and Orwell, Bradbury, Asimov and Dickens -- a lot of different authors.

Interesting until the ending, when if I could I would have put it on a space shuttle due to crash into the sun. The ending was 100% crap.

Yeah, I read it a few months ago. Why all the controversy though?
Apparently it was called 'Antichrist' and a lot of other stuff but I failed to find anything offensive in it.

Truthfully...I hated Tangerine, it was about two things I dont care about, soccer and people who move to a new place. I found it dealt with death a lot but it had almost no emotion in it.

It was meh. I read it for school a couple of years ago, and I remember being frustrated with my classmates about them thinking that the point of the book is to figure out whether the kid survives or not.
