A spinoff from North Wiedna's thread about his song lyrics. This one's broader. Here, anyone can post their song lyrics or discuss those of others. Here's a song I wrote that I'm pretty proud of:

The outline of a 9-14 minute composition I'm writing, complete with notes and directions. Basically lyrics I wrote down in about 15 minutes so I wouldn't lose the ideas I had going, it's a rough draft.

watching some TV
Saw some guy speaking his mind,
But I didn't agree, I go on.
And I ignore what he says.

But goddamn I really hate that guy.
What a racist bastard, hope that he dies.

Next morning I was watching TV.
Found the same guy facing prison sentence.

Because he spoke his mind.
That's when I thought...

Where one who thinks differently,
gets punished for what he thinks?

It's by far the longest thing I've ever written and far from finished, probably hardly makes sense without the accompanying music as well.
