Zompires. Undead rotting beasts that feed on blood and brains and are killed by sunlight.

possibly the least scary of the undead things i've heard of.

Vampires kick Zombies' asses. Not the sparkly vampires, though. The rest of the vampire world disowned those sparklers, so the sparklers had to take refuge elsewhere.

Everyone knows that the "sunlight kills vampires" is a myth created, and spread, by the vampires' propoganda department in an attempt to fool the non-vampire populous before the vampire invasion of Dec. 2012 can start. They will surprise attack us and they will not sparkle.

Zombies are going through an identity crisis. Are they reanimated decomposing corpses? Olympic track stars infected with some sort of super-rabies? Are they the traditional voodoo variety, which are just living people put under some sort of mind-control spell? Are they Carl?

Vampires, meanwhile, have remained fairly consistant. They are less vulnerable to death than regular people, work at night, and have a tendancy to drink blood. Contrary to popular opinion, vampires aren't allergic to sunlight. They just lose some of their powers until they can find some darkness or sunblock. Those ultraviolet rays will do that to you.

If it was vampires vs mummies, it would have been closer. Magical creatures of the night vs usually bullet-proof reanimated corpse bent on getting those damn kids off his lawn. Seriously, what the hell are they doing? Ramses there just put in some new lawn jackals and he doesn't want those damn teenagers to ruin them. Damn kids.

AFAIK Zombies never required divine intervention to be defeated.

If it takes that to defeat them, there is no question.

Z2 and V2 are the best versions...they are compatible with each other also...If Z2 then V2 can become Z2 and V2...or V2 can feed off of Z2 and become V2 and Z2...assuming Z2 is still part human because of the infection and still caries an amount of non-circulating blood...

in the OP there was alist of 1-3 for zombies and vampires z=zombie v=vampire

While I would not want zombies to exist in real life, from a fictional standpoint they are more interesting.

Zombies, even if you have the speedy Left 4 Dead kind you can still kill alot of them, that and it doesn't take a silver bullet.

Methinks that silver bullets kill Werewolves.
