Draw yourself, this has been discussed at length. It's even in the OP. There's even a handy step by step guide posted somewhere. It may be for poland ball but it's very relevant.

Alright, this is my seconds NSB comic and...well, I think this one's a lot better than my first attempt, I guess.

It's a nice concept, and it could have been quite funny, but the joke just wasn't there. A joke is supposed to be buildup to the final punchline. Violence doesn't count as a punchline, and that last panel is just wasted space which does nothing but detract from whatever humor there is to be found.
Overall, you did almost everything right, it's just that the one thing you got wrong was the most important thing. I say just keep trying. All you need to do is get into the groove of making jokes, and I'm sure you'll do great.

No, I seriously don't see it, I just put the space filler part in there for comic effect, sorta. Maybe it's because I have a weird sense of humor, I dunno, but I thought it was pretty funny.
