You know, I just can't seem to like movies where humans are the bad guys, visually it was amazing though.

Though this is a gross simplification of both plots, it does highlight the similarities in structure quite well;
That said, probably the best movie I've ever seen would have to be Children of Men. The acting was magnificent on all accounts, the cinematography a masterwork, and the entire atmosphere was meticulously crafted to create the perfect gray, crumbling future.

I found it to be more or less like a cross between Star Wars and Dances with Wolves. Anyways, my favorite movie has to be Inglorious Basterds.
