Waiting a long time
on August 16. © Kazeem A Badrudeen, All rights reserved
I have been waiting a long time.
I have been waiting for a long time for the day that freedom will come.
Have been talking with the trees, trying to find confort.
The spring water is not dry yet....
So I will continue to let the burning sun burn my
heartless body. Each time that raindrop is a
chance to count my gold coins.
So waiting for that rain drop is harmless
to me at this time. I am under no illusion,
for I know the time will come. For the
melting snow is a sign of what's ahead. The time is soon

My fights
on August 16. © Kazeem A Badrudeen, All rights reserved
The world I live in is surrounded by bloods.
The battle I fight day and night will go not without victory.
The clear blue sky will guide me through the days ahead.
The big gloomy moon will show me the way at nights.
All I have to do is drive my boat to the other side.
Calling on thee is one thing; another is to believe in him.
The world is no longer what it once was.
Civilization is a major indicator of what the world as become.
In the mist of all this, I will fight to make it through.

My true Friend
on August 17. © Kazeem A Badrudeen, All rights reserved
In this ever changing world, nearly everything will change,
but one thing that can be said to be stable is my true friend.
He care not what I say to him in my time of need, for he can hide no true from me.
My true friend did more than be there; he cared when it matter most.
My true friend can be called on at night, day,
anytime, for he will not hesitate to come be by my side.
All I ask of my true friend is to listen to me.
The solution to the problem is in my hand.

Our enemy shall crumbled
on August 18. © Kazeem A Badrudeen, All rights reserved
Those trying so hard
to bring our nation down must realize
that the power that unite us
is unbreakable.
They must understand
that darkness cannot fully
cover our cloud of brighter days.
They must understand we
will stand on guard for
That day might knock
our doors to take our
joy away.
They must realize that
their attempt must surely
Failed.
We assure them that we
are not blind, nor are doomed
For us to see and match
them over on our
way to the land of promise

A day to love
on August 20. © Kazeem A Badrudeen, All rights reserved
A day just for love.
Just for giving the world a
chance.
Avoiding to accidental step on
a living creature like him.
What made such a day
and a night just for saving
him from his burning pain.
While he can see the creatures
Worked past them, making no accident.
Cool and farm on the night that
light has beamed on him
having no intention of
memories of that creature
A range of emotions run
through him
emptying every pity in
his eyes
Cry not, ho cry not
for your dreams are real.

River of joy.
on August 21. © Kazeem A Badrudeen, All rights reserved
How does this day start
without notifying me of
the pleasant smell of rain along with it.
This smell is none other than
those sweet memories that
call on to me in the forever lonely in
which Live.
Counting every drop
is nothing but a way of thanking
the millions of drupelets
that rain that make my life manful.
Hold on life; hold on day
Please me by malting in to this ever
flowing river of joy.
Enrich my mood with your colorless body.

A crime to love
on August 21. © Kazeem A Badrudeen, All rights reserved
Speak in to my voice with
what has made your love
the only one that make my eyes blink into
the world of dreams.
Capturering the excitement
every step
of every laughter being express
only by our touch.
Make our energy come
to life while asking for the reason a man
dint love in his early days.
Why a man as chosen to save himself for
that moment of oneness sheared by the
two mad lovers.
Creating the night with that magic spearks
that I have never once felt.
A crime that man as always commit.

Love of galaxy light

My heart is ready to sing and praise
the love of this one of
a kind night.
My mind is ready to dance to the thought
of another night of
smile that takes my problems away.
This sweet taste of romance is carrying
my heart to a galaxy far, far away.
Where my eyes can envision the light of
my only love among the billions of other
galaxies in this universe of lovers.
My whole being is ready to embrace
the thought of this one love galaxy that
has kept my eyes closed to the rest.

Slave Oppressors
on August 24. © Kazeem A Badrudeen, All rights reserved
How powerful truly are those
who love and served his kingdom
with the whole being of their power?
How majestic is his name shouted on
by billions of his slaves that lay before
him for his mercy?
Does he not gave us this power to
trust, believe, and served his kingdom?
What rights do we then have has his
slave to oppress our fellow slave’s mates?
Without him what knowledge do we have?
To found with him, we must seek greater
knowledge of his holly book (Quran).

Our oneness love
on August 24. © Kazeem A Badrudeen, All rights reserved
Ever since you left I have lost your number.
In my heart I have no dought that we are one.
How can you ask for my love when
you've gave yours away?
How can you ask me to be there when I have
never really matter to you?
We might live, eat, drink, sleep together,
but we never really matter.
Our love for each other is special, but, yes,
how can that be so with all that we've done to each other?
We are secretly in love but it can
only matter when we care for our oneness.

the true language of the dead to be spoken.

into the meaning of his existence.
realizing that his past

The doctor said you are dieing.
on August 29. © Kazeem A Badrudeen, All rights reserved
It an early morning
as I stand in front of my room door.
I had nothing on, but my singlet and my pajama pant.
I thought for a moment what this moment meant to me.
What does my family think of me?
What does this early moment signify in my life?
I worked close to my mirror and fixed my eye glass.
I sat beside my bed think about one thing.
How can I be dyeing?
Why do the doctors seem so heartless?
I pick up my clothes to put it on, when I heard
a knock on the door.

They answer by telling me that a mother’s love
is the sweetest thing because of the delicateness
that goes into it.
My mother asks me to ask the world
what made her so happy
and so I did.
The world answers by saying that a mother's joy
is a river. It never stops flowing until the
day she live this world.
My mother ask me to ask the world the definition
of compassion,
and so I did.
The world answer by telling me that compassion flows
into the rivers of joy located in the smile of a mother.
the moment of birth is the beginning of that river.
the river will flows for live because a mother’s love will always be here.

some words meant to be live, and die for.
At this time that word is about to mean breath.
Breath with the delicateness, and softness of brighter days.
This word meant life.
Life with a new begin.
A time to reflect on my childhood till date.

Certain expectation from the world.
But this word in totality meant one thing.
It meant responsibility.
Responsibility to act in a mature and fare manner.

the old anger and hater
that as imprison me for
months are rushing back
Today's anger was not the
same as yesterday,
and yesterday’s was
different from the day before.
Over this time of uncertain realization of
deep, dark nights,
I was escaping that agony.
That agony that never seem to
reveal himself through my many dreams.
Those dreams that slice my heart into two and
place that bitterness within it.
But, still I must not give in
I must fight back.
I must regain my thought, and
my sleep from this higher force
that is keeping me enslave at night.
