Your Relaxation Song

Postby Taffy 3 » Wed Aug 25, 2010 10:25 pm

What song do you turn to whenever you are stressed out and just need to bleed away the stress? My song is "Ripple" by The Grateful Dead.

I of course love Jerry singing it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVdTQ3OPtGY

I also love some random versions like this amazing one by a street performer.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhHz7YI2WB0

I don't care what version of the song I hear, it always calms me down. I miss Jerry though. :(

I just listen to Cedric Bixler Zavala get pissed off at a crowd, always makes me laugh. "Save that shit for the Warped Tour!"

First off, thanks for the links to "Ripple". I've tried to play it/heard family members play and sing it on guitar, and remember the first time i heard it going "Wow, for a song with lyrics that weird, it's really good." But I'd never heard tapes of it, so...thanks!

As for the question, I discovered "Details in the Fabric" by Jason Mraz a few months ago. It's definitely filled that void since then.
