Just watched "Get Low" with Robert Duvall, Sissy Spacek, & Bill Murray.

Robert Duvall is excellent as usual, but not his best movie. I think it's still worth watching.

I just watched Gran Torino for the third or forth time since it came out. I love that movie more than words can describe.

Morning Glory - 1/10 One of the most annoying, shallow, stupid, loudmouth leading feminine character I've ever seen. This movie could really be a milestone of modern cinema if only Harrison Ford shoot her head off (ca. 25 min.) instead of killing two innocent pheasants. I'm curious how much did they pay him for participating in crap like this.

I was watching Scream of the Banshee on SyFy, but they killed the black guy first (random security guard), so screw that movie.

Sucker Punch! It's like Inception crossed with The A-Team crossed with... The Sixth Sense, or something like that. Amazing. Oh, plus aliens, dragons, and steampunk.

Get Low

Tsa-la-gi Nation was right, Robert Duvall was great, but he usually is. I liked this movie, but it seemed to be missing a little something. I watched some of the special features and when the director talked about it being the first movie he directed, it kind of made sense. The movie could have been better, but it is still worth watching. I am amazed at how attractive Lucas Black has become. My husband said he would have never guessed it was the kid from American Gothic.
