The Fifth Element. Oh God, I thought Chris Tucker was hilarious in the Rush Hour series, but his performance as Ruby Rhod has to be the hammiest and campiest I've ever seen of him. :lol2:

That southern accent is hilarious. And Bilbo, I forget the actor's name (Ian something or other). His character, the priest, was also funny.

Pacific Rim.

Aside from some of the acting, plot holes, unbelievable pseudoscience, and the main character's accent, it was actually a fun movie to watch.
High points: Giant monsters! Monster fights! Robot fights! Russians! Idris Elba! AWESOMENESS! And, as the brilliant minds at CinemaSins put it, "The robot drags a cargo ship through the streets of Hong Kong and beats up the giant monster with it!"
Pro: Mixed Market economy, LGBT rights, feminism, pro-choice, EU, NATO, Two-state Solution, Social Liberalism, nuclear power Bronies, House Tyrell, Playstation.
Anti: Cold War Part II mentalities, homophobes, anti-feminists, extremism, anti-vaccination campaign, Libertarianism, Brogers, House Targaryen, Xbox.
Just your typical white, heterosexual, college, male, Russophile (who does not support the Russian government's actions in Ukraine).

The last two guys above that posted watched movies I also watched within the past few months (loved both Zulu and Frozen to be honest. Don't judge me for it. :lol2: ), but today I finished watching 12 Years a Slave which was wonderful, though extremely sad. A lot of people have said "Just watch Django" (which I've also watched), but I found this movie was slightly more touching, more human I guess. Very powerful, especially at the end. One day when I have more time I'm going to look into the story and see how true everything was (I'm assuming it's all true, but I don't like taking a movie's word for it).
"Take Fascism and remove the racism, ultra-nationalism, oppression, murder, and replace these things with proper civil rights and freedoms and what do you get? Us, a much stronger and more free nation than most."
"Tell me, is it still a 'revolution' or 'liberation' when you are killing our men, women, and children in front of us for not allowing themselves to be 'saved' by you? Call Communism and Democracy whatever you want, but to our people they're both the same thing; Oppression."
"You say manifest destiny, I say act of war. You're free to disagree with me, but I tend to make my arguments with a gun."
Since everyone does one of these: Impeach Democracy, Legalize Monarchy, Incompetent leadership is theft.

A Trip To The Moon

See, climate change is real, people. In 1902, the moon had lush jungles and intelligent life. Not to mention, you could get there with a giant cannon. You didn't even need a suit! I don't need to even need to say it, but in the span of 67 years, that all changed...
