An American Tail, I had never seen it so I watched it. It was spectacular, Don Bluth is a splendid animator.

Black Swan.
Good movie and Natalie Portman's Oscar was absolutely deserved.

Fixed. Sure, back when he made things like The Secret of NIMH, The Land Before Time, An American Tail, All Dogs Go to Heaven, etc. he was great. He was making awesome movies then, but after that he started to go down hill and made shit like Thumbellina, A Troll in Central Park, The Pebble and the Penguin, and others.

PLAGUERS.

Synopsis.
A freighter receives a distress call from another starship. when they go to the rescue, they manage to rescue 5 women who claim that they were attacked by pirates. when the five 'survivors' turn out to be pirates and try to highjack the ship, Something is released that begins to infect both crew and pirates alike, mutating them into something else.

Rating.
A fair b-movie... cheesy acting, lousy effects, predictable ending...

Samurai Princess

in a world modelled after feudal Japan, Sophisticated Mechancal dolls "Mecha" exists next to humans. but when a group of women were killed by two Mecha 'artists' one is rebuilt into a fighting maching, powered by 11 souls and armed with an array of internal weapons, the Samurai Princess is on the hunt to find and eliminate her killers.

Set in the tone of Tokyo Gore Police and Machine Gun Girl... this Japanese B-filim, I found to be surprisingly entertaining. laughable and cheesy. a nice combination and an unusual twist to the favorite Pinocchio storyline.
on the other hand... I have another set of fingers.

Mr. Wallcott: Are you sure about that, Agent Cho? Because I can make one phone call and your career is toast.
Cho: That's impressive. The best I can get with one call is a pizza.

Cloverfield. I liked it, even with the shaky camera thing.

i like it except for the multiple endings, why not just pick one and leave the rest as a short dialogue? rather than 30 minutes of drawn out backslapping.
