Wow. I was not prepared for the full majesty of that thing.

:P it's, hard to describe in terms of how awful and yet how amazing it is in it's awfulness.

It's impossible to adequately know it without seeing it. For better or for worse, it's filmmaking on a new level... wherever that level may be.

Do you live in America? Did you watch it on AMC?

I watched part of Open Range. I hate Westerns, or most of them anyway. This one included. My family likes Westerns, though.

That was a horrible movie, which was a basterdization of the book. Sarah Harding wouldn't have helped that baby dinosaur, she's not some dumbass tree-huger, she's a biologist, she knows that it's a natural process, babies live and they die. You can't just take two characters and merge them into the PC black girl. They deleted an entire character. They changed the plot. It was just bad, just so bad.

Oh when I first watched it years ago, I thought it was the greatest thing. But I grew up a bit and read the book, and I was just disgusted on how much better it could have been had they followed the original plot.

great drama from Satoshi Kon. I was expecting something more like the Mind fuck of Perfect Blue... but was surprisingly and pleasantly disappointed.
