Okay.

PJ likes to torture dracophiles, though. In the first movie, we only see Smaug's tail and his eye.

Second movie was better, with lots of good action.

But the third one'll have him
killed by Bard early on.

I read the book, so watching it will be like cheating now :p

I've only watched 3 of them. The Dark Knight, Life Of Pi, and Frozen. Also in that order in terms of quality.

Just watched Barry Lyndon.
It's okay, but not one of Kubrick's finest in my opinion.

I enjoyed Fury. I agree the movie in general was excellent, but the ending was very unrealistic disappointing.

Hobbit 3 was garbage. Quality control on the writing was asleep or high or both at the same time. Like what the fuck, I spent most of that movie laughing at how bad the lines were.

Planet of the Apes. I was trying to get the free TV from 1978 I found working, and that's what I watched on it.

It has really good non-cgi effects in it.

At first, it also bothered me "In real life it would never happened!", but then I came to the realization that this moment had so much to it that I actually ended up praising it.

Two For the Road (1967)

The story of a marriage. It was good, though confusing at times because it kept going back and forth from totally different scenes, and it got kind of boring after 2 hours, but it was good enough.

I would have liked it more if Pitt had been dressed as a dog throughout the movie - keep everything else the same. Then call it Furry.

I watched The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies and I liked it, even though Legolas defied the laws of physics towards the end, because I got to see Saruman kick some Ringwraith ass with Elrond.

I thought it was Jack the other Air Marshall, and then thought it was the person he befriended in the beginning of the movie. But both were wrong.

Also, am I the only one who thinks Aragorn is a Mary Sue-ish kind of character in the movies?

Felt that way about Legolas the minute we saw him skrateboard on an elephant.
To me Aragorn felt less "Mary Sue" and more "Chosen One," which, however sloppily it may have been executed, is an acceptable trope for the genre.
