Roblox is a ped0 farm house currently and Minecraft just released a new dimension, that sums it up imo

I play Roblox and Minecraft, and the latter (Minecraft) is way better in my opinion. Roblox has become worse, especially with the 'marketplace inflation' and the UGC becoming unhinged (it's already unhinged).

As someone who plays BOTH games, I see it fit to respond.


Roblox is full of crap and poorly made games. Updates suck as well. HOWEVER, there are some beautifully made games with extraordinary gameplay. While some of my favorite games aren't what a lot of people would consider "good", they're good in my opinion. My favorites are Blood and Iron, Guts and Blackpowder, Lexington and Concord and a few others.

For Minecraft, the updates are awesome. Minecraft has a server option AND mods, which basically give Minecraft its own game-uploading system. I don't really touch add-ons, mods and do multi-player, mainly because I'm broke. Anyways Minecraft is insanely fun, whether you play single-player, with friends or in a large server. But so can Roblox if you are in an enjoyable game.

Comparing Minecraft and Roblox is like comparing fruits to vegetables. The communities are severely different as well. Roblox is made up of largely "tweens" and younger, but do have some teen and adult communities. Minecraft, however, is largely made up of adult and teen players, with some pre-teen youtubers and friend groups out there players.

The point I'm trying to make it, both games are enjoyable, you just have to look in the right place. Also, I think the only reason Roblox is so hated is because of the bad updates, the amount of slop games and the largely under-13 playerbase.
