Wait what?

Is this about movies you consider masterpieces? If so, then why the hell title the thread "Forrest Gump"? If this thread is supposed to be about Forrest Gump, then why even bring up any of the other stuff?

Other than those questions, what kinds of questions, or comments are we supposed to have? What are we supposed to comment on? That you like the movie? Good for you, I guess.

Just questions and comments about the movie, btw i was just trying to have a big opening intro so we could start some discussion

Oh. Maybe next time you could raise discussion points, or ask questions of your own.

Additionally, you may not be aware but "Star Wars" is not one movie, there are three of them, it's entirely possible (and reasonable) that you meant all three of them... but for clarification, which one 9or all three) did you mean?

Well, of course there are "more" than three. I just assumed you weren't counting the fourth one: Star Wars Holiday Special. So I meant three as in the other three, the three actual movie movies, you know?

Yep, that's what I got from it to. I never did like Jenny....she just kept jerking Forrest along.

I too thought she was kind of a bitch. Thats one thing I hate about 'love' movies, the girls are invariably mean people.

Episodes 1-3 don't count?

1-3? You mean Episodes 4, 5, and 6 just given different chronological numbers right?

I don't accept that the "New Trilogy" is Star Wars. It just sucks that much.

'Grove, you had to go and make this difficult for me didn't you? *shakes head in frustration*

I renounce the so called "New Trilogy" fpr it's extensive practice of Suckology, and Craperonomy. Don't get me wrong, they would have merely been sub-par movies were it not for the actual good three. The problem is that George Lucas (who is pretty much an idiot. And a douche) steamrolled all of the already-licensed information about Star Wars, just to make the New Trilogy the way he wanted it (and it could hardly have been worse). There are two redeeming factors about the New Trilogy: Plo Koon (complete badass), and the fact that Skywalker was titled Lord Vader before his acid dip lava dip lava near-encounter which vindicated me in an argument I had years prior to the release of the movie where I argued that "Darth Vader" is the title of the particular Lord of Sith, not the dude in armor, he was Vader before the armor (because he was still evil), so that is even a small thing.

So, I will, with derliberate obstinence and douchebaggerousness, stick to my assertion: there are three, Holiday Special notwithstanding (I assume you are also forsaking "Clone Wars" as well, then?)
