I'm trying not to buy new games but I cratered by buying the "Northwest DLC" for American Truck Simulator, so now I have 5 northern states and a couple of small DLC's, California and Nevada, and free Arizona. Gives me a little more to work with....When I actually play it again.

Can't wait for the day (in about 15 years from now) when they finally reach the east coast so I can drive around places I know

Plus side for me is I'm from Washington . Its literally got the highway I take every day to work.

It sucks it takes so long but I actually think they deserve the money they're asking for them all (even if I wouldn't necessarily pay it). They're lovingly putting so much work into every US state.

Though I suspect they'll be offering a few states at a time once they get to the Eastern side. I don't think they're just going to release the Rhode Island DLC.

Really enjoying this game a lot, it has the occasional crash and sometimes the AI is really stupid or at least gets confused really easily. A few times a tank in my platoon has drove into a small patch of trees and its pathfinding proceeded to immediately break and even switching control to that tank, and manually driving out didn't fix it as it would turn back around and drive into those trees again.

Other than that though its a lot of fun, though im shit at some of the different tank sights, i struggle to land hits at long range on basically anything other than an Abrams, Bradley or a T-80

Been seeing a lot of YouTube shorts of folks playing Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord. This came randomly after I tried playing some Mount and Blade: Warband a few weeks ago and it kinda left a sour taste in my mouth. Nostalgia didn't work hard enough and it left a lot of be desired. Thinking about getting Bannerlord in the next Steam sale or whenever to scratch this itch.

So in the last 2 days, I've finished 2 games. Haven't finished games in a while but I'm trying to get back into ACTUALLY finishing stuff because I'm so far behind on things I'd like to get caught up, if even possible. So when a new game comes out, I can actually grab it, and focus SOLELY on it, and not get sidetracked like I always do.

I finished the main story (And most everything else) for Saints Row: The Third, and then finished up the story for Spec Ops: The Line mostly yesterday and finished up today. Its wild to finish 2 in 2 days, I almost finished both yesterday. But this is what happens when I have multiple near completion.

Ahhh, STALKER 2... gonna wait for a sale. It's just a mix of both, really. I am saving up, and also because, well.. I heard that it might be, well, buggy has a generous amount of anomalies.

Im playing it now and im enjoying it, but its definitely a bit rough and the AI system seems to be broken and not implemented properly with squads roaming around and interacting with each other properly but the devs have said they are trying to patch it as soon as they can.

Probably best to hold off a little bit for some more updates.

Dont have much to share spoiler wise just yet as im only a few hours into the game and have not progressed too much, mainly trying to get used to the game and the controls.

But i will say this game has the best depiction of Blood Suckers in the whole series, they are tense and really deadly. Especially at night. I got attacked by two at this old village that i was passing through and had to run to a small group of Stalkers nearby at a bus shelter to fight them off and two of the stalkers went down in the process. We only killed one of the Blood Suckers though so the other one just backed off i think to hide back in the village.

Ahh that's fair no worries! Now that's getting interesting. I would love to have more of those moments yeh. Hopefully not too scripted - just you, your equipment, against whatever Zone is throwing at you.

I am not sure how to phrase this correctly and I mean yeah, it's a result of the newer engine or games, but I hope and miss the (a little janky but) fluid and fast movements and sprints of the old games. Granted, it's not as realistic (Strelok booking it at 20 meters per second / 44 MPH!) but I quite like that. Games back then has a little bit of that snappy movement thing.

But again, I have not played it yet so I wouldn't know until I do. And more importantly - I do hope we can mod it to our heart's delights. :3
