What can I say, except you're welcomeeeee! ♪ I keep saying I am not going to make it really big, but.. well, my farm is getting a little bigger. Still a small-time farm though, with like 2 plots of land and 4 chickens. I am not a min-max guy (which nothing wrong with that, I just play at own pace. ♥)

On the Halo Studios stuff... man I hope they don't mess this up. I mean, this is not in defense of 343 so while the Infinite is, well... kinda okay/meh, I really hate the monetization stuff. If they REALLY want that money, they can at least just do the selling of weapon charms or whatever. The armor customization/colors being locked to schemes is the most limiting / non-Halo thing ever. Oh and of course, the fact that it came shipped with like 3 game modes for multiplayer?

I am also not sure as to how to feel about them using Unreal Engine. Games CAN look great or unique on them, but often times, they have that "Made in Unreal" vibe that you can't escape from.

I swear I am normally more optimistic, but maybe I am a bit jaded. :P

Football Manager 25 has officially been delayed for a further 4-5 months. This is quite the oopsie for a yearly sports game and follows previous marketing announcements which solely consisted of stuff they're taking out of this version of the game, trailers without any game footage and accompanied with mocked up UI screenshots with incorrect player information, and a roadmap without any dates. People very annoyed in particular that they announced pre-orders for a November release when they definitely knew at that stage they couldn't deliver. Quite a fun one to rubberneck on.

Eveline Gwen T. Allison Hepburn (that is seriously the name, I used a mod) is now a Level 10 in all the skills. :P

And there is the mastery portion of the game now, which... I genuinely do welcome. No longer I have to do only one task here or there, everything I do contributes to it.

Been playing at my own pace myself. Just about to start year two and I've got a little over halfway finished on the community center. First year was spent just getting by on minimal crops because dogshit starter watering can and barely making improvements to the farm.

In winter, I built a coop and barn and got some chickens and cows, so I've started improving the farm a bit. But I'm trying to position myself for spring to farm a lot more than the previous year to start making more farm improvements.

Playing on the four corners farm, so the upper right corner by the house is the farming portion. The upper left corner is where I've put the barn and coop, so it'll be the ranching portion. Lower right corner is going to be an orchard once I've got the money to buy and plant saplings. Bottom left corner? Not sure what I'm doing with that space yet. Could be more orchard, could be more ranch, could be more farming. Dunno yet.

Eyyyyy cool! I will admit that I have used a couple of mods (like looking up stuff) so.. I kinda cheesed the friendship stuff for instance. Not using spawners, of course! I remembered when I was elated on my first iron ore.

Finally finished the greenhouse, and I am going to very much reap its rewards, particularly the ones that repeatedly bear fruits/seeds/etc.

On the animal side, I only got one cat, four chickens, and one horse. And that would be that. Anything else I need like cow/goat milk or duck feather, I am gonna rely on the merchant. :P

Here's my little corner of heaven.

I usually play with mods too, mainly quality of life stuff and aesthetic appearance stuff like a mod to make the wild grass that grows on your farm look like wildflowers instead.

But I'm playing vanilla this time since there's been a couple content updates since I last played, so I didn't want any confusion on what was a mod and what was new base game content.

This is surviv.io, or what was once surviv.io, also known by it's other url link, pubg.io. It was basically a 2d browser game version of Playerunknown's Battle Grounds, with a lot of similarities between it, but also an equal amount of differences. For example, the map is significantly smaller, it has various game modes aside from the usual normal, and the guns and miscellanea are also different, where the AKM exists in PUBG, in surviv.io there's the AK-47, presumably a Type 3 AK, the HK416 exists in both and are named the M416, pills and soda replace painkillers and energy drinks, the Stahlhelm exists in surviv.io instead of the PASGT helmet in PUBG.

I tried coming back to surviv.io in probably late 2023 or so, but it was nothing like the original, something very different has taken it's place and replaced it, from what I can remember it's all pixel art or something, but I haven't checked it out again.

I used to play surviv.io a bunch back in the day. Honestly forgot it existed until this post. Some quick digging indicates the game was bought by Kongregate and then abandoned and later shut down in 2023. Now it just redirects to one of their own games.

But in that digging, I found that the devs who made surviv.io have made suroi.io which, while I haven't played it, looks quite similar to the original.

Hard Space Ship Breaker is soo much fun, got back into it recently after a few years since i last played and have been playing through the campaign and im having a blast. Its oddly very relaxing cutting ships apart and sending the various components off into the right disposal areas. Only died twice so far, both times where i accidentally got my fucking face caved in by something as a result of an explosive decompression.

Started getting Ghost ships lately and they are spooky and have a nice atmosphere to them. Abandoned deep in space with their crew missing they are brought into be salvaged and are covered in AI nodes that the company wants destroyed, and they let out an eerie scream each time you destroy one latched onto a component. First one i did had a helmet with an audio log of a panicked crew member talking about his ship was disabled out of no where then attacked by someone and they are cutting in through the walls and he can hear them getting closer before it abruptly cuts off.

I just remembered that I own that game. I bought it in 2021 but trying to play it with the computer specs I had at the time was simply impossible, so it's been sitting in my Steam library alongside let's just say a great many other games I haven't played in at least two years.

I'm trying not to buy new games but I cratered by buying the "Northwest DLC" for American Truck Simulator, so now I have 5 northern states and a couple of small DLC's, California and Nevada, and free Arizona. Gives me a little more to work with....When I actually play it again.

I'm not sure how many states you had before and how much you had seen of them, but what you have sounds plenty. I first got just Oregon, Washington, and Idaho alongside the free California and Arizona when I first got the game, and was nowhere near done exploring them by the time I bought more states.
