I hear it's a lot better. I want to try it but my experience was less "this is so fucking buggy" and more of "this feels like GTA with so many layers of complexity that I can't enjoy it."

There is a bit of jankiness in the movement and combat but nothing horrendous. Few occasional clipping issues with dead bodies, you know the normal kind of stuff. Worst bug i experienced was my characters hair turning black for some reason which required a game restart to fix.

There are a lot of side quests in the game and random crimes you can respond to if you want to do stuff for the police and other random gigs for fixers like breaking into a gang controlled building etc. The amount of skills was a little overbearing at first but im kind of getting used to it. Some of the side missions have been quite fun, there is a series im doing around cyberpsychos who have been driven insane by their cybernetics or fucked with in some ways and they make for some really fun boss fights.

Main story is fairly solid as well so far, had a few cool moments but im not too far into the main story, a few missions past the prologue. Voice acting is pretty solid too, i was a bit worried how Keanu was gona sound but he does a great job imo.

I should point out that it's not the most ambitious system in the world, it has its limits. You can't mix and match ship classes, you won't be able to put Hauler parts on a Solar ship or anything like that.

Basically, it's all about getting the ship you want faster. See a ship that looks cool for one reason or another? Buy it, take it to salvage, and take the single part you like the most. Collect all the necessary parts to make a viable ship and then you can put it all together and make your own S-class ship with remarkable ease.

The workers at Bethesda Game Studios have fully unionized
The workers at Bethesda Game Studios have joined the Communications Workers of America (CWA), and they say they're the first Microsoft video game studio to form a wall-to-wall union. A total of 241 workers have either signed an authorization card or have indicated that they wanted to join a union through an online portal. The "wall-to-wall" nature of their organization means the CWA will be representing workers across job descriptions and divisions — and not just one type — including artists, engineers, programmers and designers. Bethesda is the developer behind Starfield and the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games.

Microsoft has already recognized the union, so workers at the studio's Maryland office have officially joined CWA Locals 2108, while those in its Texas office have become members of CWA Locals 6215. "We are so excited to announce our union at Bethesda Game Studio and join the movement sweeping across the video game industry," Mandi Parker, Bethesda Senior System Designer, said. "It is clear that every worker can benefit from bringing democracy into the workplace and securing a protected voice on the job. We’re thrilled to get down to brass tacks and win a fair contract, proving that our unity is a source of real power to positively shape our working conditions, our lives, and the company as a whole."

Bethesda's workers join the growing number of unionized personnel in video games. In January 2023, quality assurance workers at ZeniMax Studios, the parent company of Bethesda, banded together to form what was then the largest union in the industry with 300 members. It lost the distinction as the largest union in video games when 600 quality assurance workers at Activision, which is also owned by Microsoft, joined the CWA this year.
Great news, more developers need to Unionise and fast

Bought Phantom Liberty, not played it since buying.

Okay guys, I'm going to start the Industrial Revolution in Minecraft (to some extent, at the very least). Do you have any ideas on how to do that? Maybe huge redstone contraptions? Factory-ish buildings?

I actually just bought Phantom Liberty myself there and have started it up but not got that far into it yet, gona continue more with it later.

I finished up Panams storyline the other day and it was enjoyable, she is a very likeable character and the missions out in the badlands were a nice change of pace compared to the stuff in Night City itself.

Also the fucking hover tank was class, didnt get it for long but that was fun.

I found out the hard way that only the player character is bi.

Getting turned down by Panam, she was so nice about it! I assumed she just wasn't romanceable until I looked it up lmao.

Just beaten The Last of Us Part 2.

Not as bad as many made it out to be, not as good as some say it is.

The gameplay is very fun, and frankly just gameplay wise I had a blast.

The environments are beautiful as always. The weapons and models are highly detailed, visually it’s just a very impressive looking game even in the PS4.

The story as I said is kinda meh. I get what they were going for, a story on the dangers of the “cycle of violence”, but imho they went about it pretty sloppily. For example they want they undercut their own message when it comes to violence by trying to play off the deaths of minor characters as tragic while they failed to actually get you Ive gates in said characters, while other than Joel none of the characters you are invested in die, which imho just makes the central theme kinda hollow, especially after you kill dozens of nameless NPCs. Not to mention that the pacing of the plot can be questionable at parts and it seems to advance only due to characters acting out of character at points.

Over all I give the game a 7/10. I had fun playing it, the story is alright I see where they’re ere going but they imho could’ve done a way better job at telling said story, and Nauhthy Dog can still go screw itself for false advertising.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

The video game industry remains reckless in my opinion, because GameSpot shut down and deleted the entirety of Game Informer.

No archive left behind, no warning given. The worst things one could do to their loyal readers.
