The official Weeb/Anime Discussion thread

After some deep deliberation and reflection on my part, it occurred to me that we did not have an official thread specifically to speak about the glory that is anime. I aim to rectify that mistake like Miyazaki rectified otaku culture with his chain-smoking nihilism.

So without further ado, I welcome you fellow weebs to the best party in all of Nationstates. Let the anime posting commence.

Fun topics:

1. what anime are you watching?
2. what anime would you suggest to X nation?
3. Is X nation's waifu trash?
4. Is X nation's taste trash?
5. Are you trash?
6. How many posts can we make before making a jojo reference?
7. How did you feel about the last episode of that show everyone is watching?

Right now Im hyped for the RWBY anime reboot. Roosterteeth says its not a reboot and is canon-adjacent, to me that sounds like they want 2 continuities, their trashy fanfic one where Miles Luna one of the two head writers made his self-insert OC as the main character, and the anime version where its about the main 4 female leads, Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang, ergo RWBY.

Anyways what does everyone feel about the new My Little Pony anime reboot?

can i talk about manga or is this anime only?
The only NS stats that are canon are: SA, DF, POP. The rest are not canon.
