What fan theories do you believe in?

One of the most popular ones for me is the theory that says Homer Simpson knows he's in a cartoon, explaining his bad behavior in the later seasons.

A theory I came up with is that The Real Ghostbusters is a dark alternate reality of the films, the cartoon characters are just deluded fantasies of the film's characters.

That's the plot of the Casino Royale - the 1967 comedy version

A few

  • "The Martian" and "The Expanse" take place in the same universe

  • Stormtroopers don't have bad aim, but significantly powerful force users can passively influence the mind of who they consider to be enemies to miss.

  • The Machines in the Matrix are still forced to adhere to the three laws of robotics, specifically the one about not being able to harm humans. Yes, we do see robots killing humans throughout the matrix but this is because the machines are hunting people who they perceive as a threat to humans living inside the matrix. This why they kept humans act as living batteries instead of exterminating them and relying on solely on fusion, which is far more reliable, powerful and hassle free energy source.

  • Dragons in ASOIAF are not naturally occurring creatures, but are the result of magical genetic tampering by the Valyrians who fused the DNA of the Firewyrms that are native to their lands and Wyverns, flying reptiles native to Sothoryos, to create the ultimate living weapon to expand their empire.

  • Leliana is the second coming of Andraste. Qunari are the hybrids of dragons and Elven slaves, created by Tevinter blood magic.

Harry Potter"

Postby Liahughes » Sat Apr 02, 2022 8:04 pm

Harry Potter was a bad influence on the Dursleys. There is an entertaining theory that Harry's adoptive family were not bad people. They were made that way by the Horcrux that was Harry. Remember how the Horcrux locket messed up all the characters in the seventh movie. And they wore it for days. And here the Horcrux had been around all these years.

That one's really cool. The idea of Harry being a Horcrux is really interesting.
