Being from the future.
My nation is not like my nation page at all, it contradicts itself, we don't EVER eat kangaroos, that's just very sad. Also vegetarianism is compulsory yet it still says it's the nation's favourite main course and all and stuff.

Back to these, we have the Evil Overlord List (found at http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/M ... erlordList) that basically points out all the cliches and tells you how to subvert them.

Next up, the mooks will always attack you one by one only if you're the protagonist, main love interest. Subversions of this rule almost always end up with said character dead, or nearly dead, and it'll definitely piss off the protagonist, who will gain +5 to his Strength, Skill and HP.

Almost Kisses. It's a tense situation, the Protagonist and the Love Interest are breathing heavily, invading each other's personal space. The scriptwriter, thinking he's a freaking genius, has someone/something barge in to ruin the moment. And since everybody's doing that, it goes from something interesting to something that makes you press the fast forward button.

Dumb Brute. He's all muscle, and a brain the size of a apple seed. (The Antagonist's favorite bodyguard)
Genius Bruiser. He's like the Dumb Brute, except that he's got an IQ as high as the amount of weights he can bench press. (Small chance he's a Protagonist, or more likely, one of his allies/comrade.)
Badass Bookworm. He looks like the nerd. Piss him off, and he'll beat the crap out of you. (Stares at Scooby Doo)
