Maybe with some tint on the windows too; I still gotta think about that particular detail.

Long time ago when I had my ratty Porsche 914 I spotted an F40 in the distance. I goosed it to try and catch up with it, but since I had the kind of exhaust on my car a teenager would buy (because I was a teenager) I made a lot of racket and the F40 shot into the distance leaving a little mustache curl of dust in its wake.

Veronica the Bus is a 1967 SO-42 Westie. It came as a 12 volt and sports the 1600 (well, I've had it a while. This is like my third engine.) Yeah, it's 0-60 in maybe, but it's so fun to just tool around in and it makes friends everywhere it goes.

Back in the 90s I ran across someone selling a 60s 3500GT for $8000. It had an engine swap, which is unfortunate, but putting the regular engine back in wouldn't be that hard, and with them being now $150,000 cars...it would have been a better return on investment than college has been...

...if I could bring myself to part with it.
