Fare Well - Edinburgh's Hogmanay 2020

No in-person Hogmanay celebrations this year in Scotland's capital.

Underbelly have published this video virtual Hogmanay using a programmed drone light show. Poetry in English and Gàidhlig by Jackie Kay, Makar (Poet Laureate) of Scotland, read by David Tennant, Siobhan Redmond, Winifred Brook Young and Lorne MacFadyen. Music by Niteworks.

It's the New Year's Eve celebration in Scotland. The celebrations usually draw big crowds, especially in Edinburgh, but there are no in-person events this year because of public health restrictions.
