Where do I even begin? If I had to describe Synthwave and Vaporwave to anybody who never heard of it or at least seen it picture this. You are in a car, not just any car but a flying one, floating up into different layers of the atmosphere. You feel a strong essence of nostalgia and freedom. When you make it to space to unbuckle your seat beat as you drift off. You have no worries, only wonderful colors in your mind. You start seeing things from your childhood and you drift even further. Your soul drifts from you body and your at eternal peace and nirvana. If that description did not help I recommend listening to it your self, here are some personal favorites....

So what is the whole point of it and what does Sythnwave and Vaporwave try to achieve. Well they are both radically different genres and some may argue that I should not group them together. However for the sake of time and also for other reasons I'm grouping them. Vaporwave and Sythnwave use nostalgic elements that can either make you feel pumped up or make you feel like you are having an out of body experience. Its a lovely art form it truly is, and I fell in love when I first found it. They use 80's and 90's as a foundation to create familiar yet different soundtracks and quite frankly that's music to my ears. So what do you think about Synthwave and Vaporwave? Is it true genius, meh, or "I absolutely hate this?" And please Tell me why, don't just say I hate it... explain, it does not have to be a paragraph, just a sentence or two (Although I'm not stopping you writers from writing an entire paragraph on the genius of Synthwave and Vaporwave).
