I think my new policy is to refuse to watch any Star Wars content that casts anyone other than Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, or Harrison Ford as Luke, Leia, or Han.

I'm giving Ewan McGregor a pass for now, because he's played the role at lot longer than Alec Guinness did.

(This policy does, I suppose, leave it open for them to get Harrison Ford to play Luke or Leia.)

I thought the surprise appearance at the end of season 2 of Mandelorian was cool but the extended part in Boba Fett I found myself going, "Alright...c'mon now..." I'm not 100% certain I need a live action depection of what he was up to between trilogies.

Doesn't matter though 'cause I'll watch it anyway.

I'd still rather see other stories. I mean, and entire galaxy with thousands of years of history, and we spend most of the time focusing on the 3 generations of one fucked up family.

Same. Lets do other things please.

Okay, you might be upset by this, I wasn't paying too much attention to how much I died, but I think it took no more than 10 tries? It was genuinely a lot of fun, just required a little bit of patience and a lot of evisceration with my double-blade stance.

If this fight is supposed to be compared to Oggdo Bogdo, then the rancor was a better experience by a mile. I love that the rancor is so doable right when you meet him, no need to rage for an hour before resolving that the thing's unbeatable.

Disney's not going to make movies from other material cause that's not the money maker for general audiences.

TOR fans have wanted a KOTOR movie for decades but that's not happening anytime soon cause a Skywalker's not in it. (And they already barely give prequal fans crumbs)
Human of the male variety
Will accept TGs
Char/Axis 2024

That's all folks~

I really just spent the entirety of today's session doing absolutely nothing* but exploring. Nothing but meticulously mapping the extent of this entire settlement area, figuring out where I can and cannot go. This "single" area is bigger than entire planets in Fallen Order.

* I progressed the story by . . . 15 minutes, I think? I fell down a hole and discovered the premise of the entire game.

Is Survivor really intended to be open world? I ask out of ignorance, I tried to avoid most information about this game, I did not expect this level of open-ness.

I can already see myself getting upset by the end of this, my sworn duty as a completionist is going to be stretched to its limits with the amount of collectible shit to find. I'm already considering not bothering trying to find all of the seeds, finding all of those seems like it's going to be a true nightmare not worth anyone's time.

Spending the entire day doing side quests without progressing the main story is a pretty good metaphor for my life too, tbh

BREAKING: At approximately 8:00 AM on the morning of May 27, a team of eight gunmen entered a Riftan community square during a Summer’s Eve celebration. They opened fire, hitting over fifty people in minutes. Surveillance showed the gunmen inspect their damage before they divided into pairs and swept through the plaza and the adjoining markets. Two members of the team were killed by civilians. The first had his weapon stolen as he entered a building and was shot, and the second was his partner, who was killed by civilians using the same weapon. Roughly thirteen minutes after the shooting began, the gunmen entered a firefight with a two security officers before the shooters were apprehended.

Okay, it's been a few hours now, I think I've managed to figure out how to coherently put together the SERIOUSLY WEIRD SHIT I've just been through and I need to put it to words in order to fully understand it:

So I enter this forest-y area, it turns out to be Kashyyyk-lite. Everything's nice and straight-forward. Snug right in the middle of the forest, I end up discovering a Dwemer ruin. It took me a bit to find, but I found the Oghma Infinium and carried on my way. That diversion over, it wasn't long after leaving the ruin when I end up running into what I initially thought was swarms of insects. But no, that's too simple for this game, instead it's explained as the Scourge. After navigating around all of that, I make my way up into a tower and find a a man named Dagon Gent, an insanely beautiful man who's spent 300 years in stasis.

And this is where things take a turn for the worse. Cal does his thing and tries to read Dagon Gent's past, but something goes wrong. Instead, Cal tunes into anime, watching it until the stranger wakes up. Dagon Gent then gets MAD that Cal is watching HIS anime and reveals his true nature. Cal isn't just watching anime, Dagon Gent is the living EMBODIMENT of anime. Dagon throws his ridiculously beautiful hair out of his face and says this: "The Jedi . . . they took everything from me . . . *anime noises*". Apparently, Tanalorr is as emotional for this single man as Malachor V is to the Exile and her entire crew COMBINED. He cries onto his lightsaber crystal, which turns the crystal red. This guy's EVIL now. So he dueled me until fully-armored Thanos showed up and saved Dagon. I'd met Thanos earlier in the game, he was surprisingly chill when I first met him.

And that's my rendition of what's genuinely happening in this game. It may sound like I'm taking the piss out out of it all, and I am hoping the game kinda calms down on the anime a bit, but I am actually enjoying myself quite a bit.

This rendition almost makes me want to get the game.
