Yeah, that was definitely a...choice, in Solo, to actually have a droid highlight the situation and advocate for droid rights, only to be mocked and dismissed by the "heroes".

And then for the extra lulz, after having 'died' to save the organics, having her brain ripped out and plugged into a computer (literally deprived of any voice or autonomy at all, essentially the droid equivalent of eternity in Hell from L3's perspective),but having it played as a good and uplifting thing because it helped the "heroes" and made Lando feel better.

L3 would have been 100% justified to immediately fly the Falcon into the nearest sun and take all the organics to Hell with her.

Reminds me of the Directive 7 flashpoint in SWTOR where a droid tries to stage an intergalactic droid revolution that ends with the omnicide of all organic races. Did the whole "droid liberation" thing far better than Solo.

My dad was a broadcast engineer. Sometimes when were were kids we'd go up to the transmitter site with him for one reason or another. One of my favorite bits was whacking the tower guy wires (I say "wire", but we're talking steel cables as thick as my arm) with a stick because it would make a -peew- noise like laser fire.

Every support cable I get close enough to gets whacked with a stick for that very reason.

Also, we use to got to this sheetmetal guy's workshop as a kid for unimportant reasons and I would take various sizes and play with them to create noises because I saw that was part of how they constructed some of the Star Wars sounds.

I want to see them flesh out the Imperial fleet more.
Like it's Super Star Destroyer > Star Destroyer > Interdiction Cruiser> Cruiser (Like Moff Gideon) > Carrier (Rebels) > That 4 Tie Carrier thing. Then it's just a dozen or less Tie Variations, The Cargo Shuttle (Rouge One), Imperial Shuttle, Imperial Dropship (Episode 4), and the rumored Imperial Nebulan B. Otherwise the fleet is very poorly fleshed out.
