What, is Star Wars dead already?

Anyway, some Dutch site reports that Bespin Bulletin says that Star Wars: Andor will feature amongst else the Imperial Royal Guards of Palpatine and Mas Amedda.

Yes, we killed Star Wars. As was foreseen.

Also cool, maybe we can actually see the Royal Guards do something in live action. Maybe Mas will be the target of a Rebellion mission, maybe an attempted assassination or something.

So in SWTOR it is looking like the Fury class starship is far superior to the Defender class starship. For Jedi Knights/Consulars the interior of their ship looks to have an astonishing lack of sleeping accomodations for crew (who must use sleeping bags), if the one med bay bed and narrow couch isn't taken; whilst in contrast, the ship Sith Warriors/Inquisitors get, has 6 bunk beds and 1 luxury bed, 2 med bay beds, and everything else neatly organized into rooms that have clear functions instead of spread out. If we're going off of just interior amenities, the choice is easy enough for me. Would rather have that ship.

If you could have just one ship from Star Wars galaxy here, which would it be?
If It is designed well, it is a lot like a home as well, so I imagine it demands a hefty mortgage like most real estate does.

Here is a Vanity Fair article with a lot of behind the scenes stuff about the new upcoming star wars shows if anyone wants to read it

EDIT:
Another upcoming series, The Acolyte, reportedly starring Amandla Stenberg, aims to do that. The show is in the casting phase, but the writing is largely complete, says showrunner Leslye Headland, cocreator of the time-looping Netflix show Russian Doll. She has been planning for it for two years, mostly from the confines of her home. Her dog and cat, who peek in curiously from the background of Zoom conversations, are certainly steeped in the concept of the galaxy’s High Republic era, she says, but casual Star Wars fans who haven’t been following the recent novels and comics might still be unaware.

The Acolyte, Headland says, takes place roughly 100 years before The Phantom Menace: “A lot of those characters haven’t even been born yet. We’re taking a look at the political and personal and spiritual things that came up in a time period that we don’t know much about. My question when watching The Phantom Menace was always like, ‘Well, how did things get to this point?’ How did we get to a point where a Sith lord can infiltrate the Senate and none of the Jedi pick up on it? Like, what went wrong? What are the scenarios that led us to this moment?”

Headland describes The Acolyte as a mystery thriller set in a prosperous and seemingly peaceful era, when the galaxy is still sleek and glistening. “We actually use the term the Renaissance, or the Age of Enlightenment,” she says. Jedis were not always ascetic monklike figures living selflessly and bravely. “The Jedi uniforms are gold and white, and it’s almost like they would never get dirty. They would never be out and about,” Headland says. “The idea is that they could have these types of uniforms because that’s how little they’re getting into skirmishes.”
Acolyte is definitely the show that interests me the most, hope it turns out good. Will be interesting to see who gets cast in it.

Sounds interesting. Hopefully there won’t be convoluted attempts to throw in Filoni style cameos, though that said I actually do want to see Yoda as Grandmaster.

Well with it being about 100 years before Phantom Menace Yoda is really the only movie character that could make an appearance i believe. As he is in some of the new High republic stuff i think and its about 200 years before phantom menace.

But i guess they could bring in some book/comic characters if they wanted, but i hope its not too overstuffed with cameos too. Unless its characters that dont have a lot to them and them appearing could lead to more development then i wouldnt mind soo much.

My mom doesn't like the Mortis arc either. \o/. She said it was very creepy and depressing* because of how it it emphasized the futility and inevitability of Anakin's fall into Vader.

* I though it was very funny when she said this considering we had just watched the Nightsisters' first arc.

The Ones are kinda weird. They were actually covered a bit in in the EU and were getting expanded on prior to the Disney buyout but I never knew how to feel about it. It kind of took away some of the mystique for me but FotJ did a decent job sort of adapting them into the lore especially in relation to Abeloth. They were ok for the most part I guess.

Mortis Arc was strange, but in a good way. The exploration of the Force should feel both mystical and spiritual given it's nature and Mortis accomplished the first one at least though was somewhat lacking in the second.
