It's not a war crime if they're droids.

Breaking News! Chancellor Kasel has announced another foreign intervention in the country of Laraosi. This move has been echoed with some praise, but many are decrying the move as another "Capilean Folly." The Chancellor is scheduled to give a speech on the matter in the next few days.

There is a war crime every five minutes in that show.
I love it.

I believe they changed it to the Yavin conventions in the current cannon(Obi Wan mentioned it in some of the footage we got of unfinished clone wars episode) though it possible there were multiple conventions on law regarding warfare.Tarsonis wrote:

Lol disney would have made it the jakku convention or something else they just pulle d out of their asses.
The new canon never refrences important planets.
Of course under george lucas each trilogy kept to its own set of planets but still.

At least thats the impression i got was that he wanted a new host and for Rey to kill so she could take his place.
Then again he also changed his mind like five times in that movie so he maybe he was just having a crisis due to his age

Even disneys own creations have started to suck though. They are too big and can't focus on anything. Plus george lucas himself crapped on disney. He as interviewed on it a few days ago. My points are complelty valid although I have to admit that id rather have a crap star wars than no star wars at all.

Honestly, that interpretation of Palpatine makes you wonder if he’s even an individual, or if his soul is like an “oversoul” of every Sith master since Bane. Each one doing an essence transfer and adding to it over the years.
I don’t like that implication personally, so I choose to ignore it.

The first season felt like someone's Star Wars role playing game. Actually, it still kind of feels like that. "This week you guys are raiding a mining facility. Oh, and Bill is coming over so we have to work his character in.

I quite like the idea of Sith science/sorcery and the transference of one sith soul i guess you could call it into another body, and would like to see a movie or a show go more into it, but it was very sloppily done in Rise as it was pulled out of no where last minute.

accounting to the canon novel Tarkin, Pelagius was the one what who discovered the power, and would have used it had he not had an unfortunate sleeping accident after teaching this power to his Apprentice.
